Druid Theatre in Galway City
Getting married to the one you love is such a special day, but when you can get married in the place where your father worked for so many years and has so many personal memories, it just elevates it to another level.
The Druid Theatre in Galway, just off Quay street, hosted Fiona and Karls wedding. Its an amazing venue, so atmospheric, with a plethora of opportunities to get some beautiful creative shots. After their ceremony, and a few nibbles with the closest of family, we headed out to the city.
ABOUT ME
One of the plus sides to a pandemic/lockdown (gotta look on the bright side), is that we had the streets of Galway to ourselves. We could get shots that I would struggle to in normal time because of the hustle an bustle of Galways streets. All around Quay street and Shopsteet, normally packed with tourists and shoppers, were deserted, leaving Fiona and Karl to enjoy the city to themselves.
