A lockdown wedding
Don't mention the P word
So its hard to talk about a wedding during Covid times without mentioning words like Lockdown and Pandemic. But i do my best to ignore these words (keeping my mask on at all times though). I have been lucky enough to shoot some beautiful weddings during restrictions, and they have been different, but different is not a bad thing.
I can safely say that every wedding i have shot in the last year has been so relaxed, the couples have had so many real moments of joy, the same butterflies as any other wedding, the same first kiss, and they have had just as much fun if not more.
Sarah and Donnachas wedding was so much fun. Friends, family, neighbours all waving and cheering from a social distance of course. Outside the hotel, outside the church and outside their house, all along their journey that day they were met with so much love and good will. Add to that a gorgeous rustic farmhouse that had been in Donnachas family for generations and it was a perfect day.
