Shooting weddings in Clare always feels special. Its just one of those places that no matter what corner of it you go to, it is filled with great people and great places. Regina and David got married just outside Tulla, in the north east corner of the county and their reception was in the Bunratty Hotel, in Bunratty Village. The church was a beautiful country church in Maghera, with Sinead Nic Gabhann providing the stunning music. We managed to make a stop off at Bunratty Castle with the bridal party for a bit of fun in the pub before we headed back to Bunratty Hotel. Before the wedding I know it was going to be fun, but Regina and David are such a great couple it turned out to be an amazing day. This is their story.
By the way, check out the link at the very end to Davids proposal to Regina, if ever you wanted to see something that will give you that warm fuzzy feeling on a cold Irish winters day, this is it.

Caroline and Shaun got married in Galway with their reception at the Inn at Dromoland in Clare back in April 2015, I’ve been dying to show off some of their wedding as it was just so much fun. They are a great couple, and just so nice to be around and spend the day with and add to that I love shooting any Dromoland Wedding. We started off in Galway and ended up in Clare, in between there was a lot of laughing, kissing, hugging and dancing. Here is the story of their wedding day . . . . .

Shooting a wedding in Galway City is fantastic, especially when the rain stays away. For a small city it has an amazing diversity. Tara and Pauls wedding took in most of the city, from The Church of the Resurrection on the Headford road, out to the Claddagh and then onto the Westwood on the other side of the city.

Michelle and Derek are one of those couples that are just an absolute pleasure to be around. Both with a constant smile on their faces and just a joy to be in their company. While Michelle was busy getting ready out in her family house in Galway, I popped in to see how they were getting on. Everyone looked great, helped by the very talented Caroline Coyne.

The very first time I met Michelle, I knew this was going to be one of those weddings with so much character and special little touches. She was so excited, she had hundreds of ideas, most of them she seemed to be doing herself. Gary is her perfect foil , such a nice guy and as laid back as you could be about things. It was an absolute honour and privilege to be part of their wedding day.
This is their story . .. .
